Several family members from Ronald Rabon’s family watched 5 of 6 arrested suspects in a hearing today in Horry County.  Rabon’s 2 brothers, sister, son, niece, and ex-wife were inside the courtroom Sunday morning where they observed the suspects.

A warrant for a sixth suspect was just signed early Saturday in connection with the death of a man whose body was found outside Aynor Thursday morning.  That suspect, Crystal Gayle Turner, 28, of Marion, is charged with murder and armed robbery.

Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said the body of 54-year-old Ronald Rabon of Aynor was found Thursday morning on Tobacco Leaf Lane just off U.S. 501.

Five Pee Dee residents were arrested Friday by Horry County police in connection Rabon’s death.

Jamie Dean White, 22, of Sellers; Luther Eugene Oxendine, 23, of Dillon; Paige Skipper Furniss, 23 of Hamer; Stacey Johnson, 28, of Mullins, and 26-year-old Charles Andrew Skipper, 26, of Dillon, are each charged with murder and armed robbery, J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking reports show.

A judge denied bond for White, Furniss, Skipper, and Turner on the armed robbery charge.  Johnson’s bond for the armed robbery charge was set at $100,000.  Oxendine is awaiting extradition to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center from Dillon.  His hearing is expected to take place sometime in the coming week when he arrives.

The judge did not set bond for the murder charges, those are scheduled to be heard in General Sessions Court.

Horry County Police Sgt. Robert Kegler said Rabon’s body was discovered by a garbage truck driver about 3 a.m.

Rabon appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Kegler said.

Hey Charlie and Stacey hang your heads down. People that cheer for the murderers are nearly as guilty.

I hope that the 6 low life people that MUDER this guy lives everyday in fear and pain. The same way Mr. Rabon lived the last few mins of his life. Anybody that can do or see someone do something like that is sick. They took a son, brother, father, uncle,  and maybe a grandfather away and over what a few dollars, cell phone, and whatever else he might have had…that is CRAZY!!!

I personally know Paige and Charles (or Charlie) and I also have learned over years not to be naive. Anyone is capable of anything. I totally agree w/ crrogers, they deserve whatever they get, and I hope justice is served!! Whatever the reason may be (drugs, etc..) this was so uncalled for. Mr. Rabon was a victim in this awful crime. My heart goes out to his family and friends and ya’ll will continue to be in my prayers. Regardless of who pulled the trigger, everyone there is just as guilty!!

I understand knowing someone and thinking they aren’t capible of doing something but people always suprise us.  Bottom line is all are responsible for the death of Ronald.  They went into the bar and tricked him into exiting.  1 pulled the trigger and all of them went home and never contacted police.  They waited for police to contact them. It doesnt matter who thought of it or who had part in what it happened no one reported it and a wonderful guy is dead.

It is reported on the news they planned it out. In my opinion they should hang all of them and be done with it.

Well liked or not, a man lost his life and the police say that they were involved.  How anyone could standby and watch something this heinous and not volunteer some information is beyond me and I too hope that justice is served.  Maybe they will be able to keep there heads up and look the family of the victim in the eyes when they are standing in court.  All six of them.

Stacey Johnson and Charles Skipper are two well liked and respected people. I do not believe these two indivisuals are capable of such a violet crime. I will miss them and i hope justice is served. They are innocent until proven guilty.
