Police arrest two, search for one, for attempting to cut man’s eye out

On June 17, 2009, Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section initiated an investigation after an Armed Robbery occurred at Martin’s Place in the Aynor section of Horry County.
In the incident, one victim, Craig Martin, was bound with a nylon cord, and then stabbed multiple times, including the left eye. The victim was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in an attempt to save his eye.
As a result of the investigation, three people have been identified in connection with the incident.
Police say the female suspect revealed the opening procedures of the store she obtained while delivering newspapers there on a daily basis.
She then dropped them off at the incident location while making her deliveries, and picked them up shortly after the incident, according to police.
Police arrested Kimberly O’Neil, 40, from Conway late Tuesday.
A 14-year-old from Conway was also arrested and taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
He and O’Neil were both charged with assault and battery with the intent to kill and kidnapping on Wednesday.
Antonio Gilbert, 32, of Bennettsville. currently has active warrants on him, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Mr. T - Reverse the roles, what if Mr. Martin was your brother? You would be highly upset over this. Your sister and her boyfriend need to be punished ferociously for this act upon a fellow citizen. This man was doing nothing but making a living in the honest way and your sister and her beau had to inflict this pain on him and his family. Nothing can replace what he has lost. Something really needs to be done in the department of punishment for crimes. Cause these people don’t seem to care. As the bible says an eye for an eye.

I am so sorry that this has happened to the Martin man,and I don’t know what went so bad that it made Kim feel like this was something she had to be involved in. I am Kim’s friend. I have many mixed feelings about what she did. She put her son in something that if I could get my hands on her she may never walk again. Kim is my friend, and has been for some time. This is so unlike the person I know. I don’t know what what has happened with her in the past few weeks, but I can not judge her because I don’t know. If a person has the true spirit of the ALMIGHTY in them and walks with JESUS, the fleshly judgement cannot live within them. Although I do not approve what she did, nor do I approve of the sufferring this man went through because of her, I do pray that GOD have mercy on her. My BIBLE tells me to have mercy on one another, love each other, to pray for one another, and to forgive my brother 7 times 70 times a day. I am sorry but I can not and will not turn my back on her. If you could put yourself in her shews you would more than likely hope that someone still cared for you. As for Greg Martin, I am so sorry this happened to you, but I do not believe Kim ment for this to happen this way. This is so unlike the Kim I know.
I am also a neighbor of the Martins. I have heard this woman was casing all the other small stores on her paper route. she has outstanding checks out also. she obviously decided to do this again. she was getting information about another store the next day. jail is to good for them, and jails are over crowded. they need to start using the death penalty for people that are such a violent menace to society. It’s not like she will be a role model citizen when she gets out! she has ruined so many lives, INCLUDING HER SONS! people like that deserve the same things done to them!
Untill the people stand up and start taking care of trash like that it will keep happening they know they will get 3 meals and a cot with no worries. i would like to put a bullet in each one of there heads. Take out the trash!!!!!!! I’m sick of good people being hurt by trash!!!!!!
big t if this is truley yoyr sister then you need to get off this site because there will be alot of people voicing their opionions on this case just like i am. this lady is 40 yrs old and she took part in this crime she was certainly old enough to know better and she didnt think about you or the rest of her family when she done it and she along with whoever else was with her needs the max punishment available for what they did.if it were my sister i would still be saying these words because i would be ashamed to even amit she was a relative to begin with. so take your attitude elsewhere it not gonna do any good here cause i dont care whos sister she is she committed a crime and hurt a person in the process.

This woman should be strung up for involving her 14 year old son in something like this. She has been at other local stores in the area probably casing them out for this same purpose. I’m just thankful that the law caught her and her son and are hunting her lowlife of a boyfriend down.

For starters, the State could remove the left eye of each one of the scumbags. Under the same conditions of course.
