North Myrtle Beach chamber to conduct candidates forum

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH - The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce is holding a Meet the Candidates Forum for its members and the public, on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 pm at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center., 1030 Possum Trot Road, in North Myrtle Beach.

According to a news release, the forum will be moderated, and only prepared questions will be presented to each of the council candidates and mayoral candidates.  A chamber panel will select the questions from those provided prior to the event, and if time permits, on the evening of the event. Light refreshments will be served.

“Electing candidates who understand and support business and embrace a positive business climate for our community is critically important to the success of our entire city,” Marc Jordan, President/CEO of the Chamber said in the release.
