The Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board has approved the plans for a boardwalk project from 1st and 14th avenues north, that will run along the ocean.
David Sebok, executive director of the Downtown Redevelopment Corporation said the board will take one last look at the landscaping plans, probably in two weeks.
Sebok said construction is expected start in late December or early January.  He said because they will be doing limited construction during the peak tourism season, he expects the mile-long boardwalk to be completed by Easter of 2010.
