Horry County Police search for suspect in overnight shooting

Horry County police are looking for the man who shot another man outside of a Little River bar.  Horry County Police Sgt. Rob Kegler says there was an altercation in the parking lot of Jimmagan’s End Zone on Highway 17 at around 1:30 Tuesday morning.  Kegler says the suspect got into a vehicle and drove into a crowd – hitting the victim and several other people.  He says the suspect then left the scene and returned a short time later with a shotgun.  That’s when investigators say the suspect fired three rounds at the victim, striking him in the leg.  The victim is now at MUSC in stable condition.  Police are working on leads, but have not yet released the name of the person they are looking for.
