A Longs man is in jail after Horry County police say he was caught on surveillance having sex with a horse.

A Longs man is in jail after Horry County police say he was caught on surveillance cameras having sex with a horse.
According to a police report Rodell Vereen 50, was arrested for the second time in two years for buggery and trespassing at Lazy J and B Stables on Coates Road.
He was put on a three year probation for committing the same act on Thanksgiving Day in 2007.
The owner told police she installed surveillance cameras in the barn after she felt Vereen was still having sex with her horse named Sugar.
“This was my sanctuary my peace of mind and I feel like I’ve been raped,“ said owner Barbara Kenley, “until I actually got him on film doing what he was doing did it strike home with me and that image is in my head.“
The report said on Monday Kenley went to the stable to check on the horses and saw an unknown car parked down from the property. She later saw Vereen behind the barn where four of her horses are kept.
Kenley told News 13 that she pointed a shot gun at Vereen because she was concerned about her safety and waited until authorities arrived and arrested him
Kenley said she noticed several weeks ago that Sugar wasn’t coming out of the barn to “greet her” the way she used to. She said she even noticed a sign of infection on the horse. She went on to explain how Vereen came through the barn by removing a gate, shuffling the hay and tied a rope around the horse..
“I asked him what are you doing her? And he said he needed to use the bathroom and I said (to him) that’s crap,” explained Kenley.
The police report shows that Vereen admitted to “having relations with one of her horses earlier this week.“
“I want him incarcerated, I want him to stay away from my me, I want him to stay away from my horses,“ said Kenley
He is being held at J Reuben Long Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
Sgt. Robert Kegler with Horry County Police told News 13 that they have the surveillance video as evidence.

I will venture to say that those who have been posting the hot and heavy jokes (?) are much less happy than the rest of us. Get it straight.
As for deleting posts? NO they shouldn’t delete your many, many, many posts, let the world see your real attitudes is what I say for you.

Hey just where did all of Steve’s post go anyway. That seems to be gone too. It is hard for me to remember just what post have been censored, so from now on I will save the page, just so that I can keep a record of what is and what is not being controlled.
Let me point out that I am not some pickled brained Alcoholic with dementia that is imagining things. Try as you will to make it as if I am or imply that I am out of line. The fact is that some of the post from yesterday have selectively been removed and the fun that some of us might have had, has now been stopped by the all so serious, selfrighous, controlling minority of easily offended people that some how think it is their job to be better than everyone else. Yes what this man did is sick and is the kind of thing only a really sick and untreated mentally ill person would do. At least let’s hope so. But that does not mean that we readers can not have fun or post what we like as long as it is with in the guide lines. There is no call for the same old ugly remarks from the same old big mouth un-happy people all the time. Some of you need to get a life and stop being so un-happy. Get of the whining Grumpy Gremlin wagon and fine a little humor before you end up with a stroke or heart attack.
Denialyu812 says something about a child gets molested and treated for infections. Read the story about the priest that is being charged. How many of you freaks made comments about that? I do not see any of you post on that story. No one came down on the news media, saying shame on them and claiming that they should not publish such disgusting matters. Are you the same people that think want to burn books? Are you some of the same people that said that Harry Potter should not be allow to be seen because it has magic and cast spells? Maybe the same people that want to control everything and everyone. Do you really want to try and shame us for being happy, healthy and comfortable enough with are selves to have a good sense of humor and tell jokes? Life is tough enough with out all the negative grumpy know it all’s trying to make us as un-happy as they are. I was actually enjoying this story because of some of the humorist and witty responses from Reddog, Mr. Mookie, and a few others and I thought that a woman named Steve, Anglsqualk and a few others really over reacted.
If this man is found guilty in court will he have to register as a sex offender and be monitored by aspca?thank you..

There a lot of good opinions from your viewers and some of them were very funny. So why were they cut out of these Readers Reactions. Was it to make more room for things written by people that have similar political beliefs or religious beliefs as the editor or did some politician make the decision? Shame on you. On one of my post I had said why so serous and where is you sense of humor, but censorship is not a joke and I do not think anyone could make any good jokes about it, although I would like to hear one if it is funny.
