Horry County Police arrested a Walterboro man for the robbery of a local pharmacy.
According to press release, Thomas Legare Reeves III, 23, is charged with strong armed robbery after police said he robbed the Walgreens Pharmacy, 4779 Hwy. 501 on Oct. 30.
Police said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m.
The release stated Reeves demanded the money from the register at that time from the clerk.
The clerk handed over the money and Reeves fled the scene on foot.
He was then seen a short time later running to the Value Inn on Whitty Ln.
Officers were able to locate the suspect and detain him.
Reeves is currently being held in the J Ruben Long Detention Center.
