Higher education group holds public hearing at CCU

The Higher Education Study Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday.
According to a press release, the event will take place at 2 p.m. in the Wall Auditorium at Coastal Carolina University.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the committee’s draft recommendations for a statewide action plan for higher education and to seek public input prior to release of a full report.
Public hearings are being held all over the state in 10 cities.
The meeting is hosted by Coastal Carolina University, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
