Fundraiser for North Myrtle Beach Humane Society set for today

NORTH MYRTLE BEACHN– The 9th Annual “Ride For The Animals” event, sponsored by the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is scheduled for today.

According to a news release, sign in for the Poker Run will be from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. at Captain Poo’s Blue Marlin at 2200 Little River Neck Road in North Myrtle Beach. The Poker Run will end at Swingbridge Saloon in Little River.

Registration fee is $20 per participant, with extra cards available for $10 per hand. Each participant will receive an event t-shirt and dinner after the Run, the release said.

Cash prizes will be handed out for best and worst hand. The afternoon will also include door prizes, an auction and raffles.
