Flood warning issued for Horry, Georgetown, Williamsburg, Marion and Florence County

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, NC has issued a Flood Warning for Horry County, Georgetown County, Williamsburg County, Marion County and Florence County until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

At 8:40 a.m., heavy rain and thunderstorms moved across the Eastern Carolinas and produced rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches per hour. 

According to the National Weather Service, some areas already received 2-3 inches.
