Early morning fire destroys Loris business

Firefighters work to overhaul the Monroe Street, Loris, site where Joey’s Signs was prior to a fire early Thursday morning.
An early morning fire destroyed a Loris business Thursday.
Fire crews responded to reported structure fire at Joey’s Signs on Monroe Street around 4 a.m.
Officials on the scene said there were no sprinklers in the building that house the current business since 1980.
Fire officials say the building was a total loss.
The fire remains under investigation.
