Detectives investigate Horry County home invasion

Police are investigating a home invasion in the Green Sea section of Horry County. They say it happened on Friday, Oct. 30 around 9:50 a.m.

According to a police report, two unknown men went into a home on Highway 19, assaulted and tied up a victim. The victim told police the two men stole firearms from the home before leaving.

The report states that a family member of the victim went into the house and interrupted the crime, and was cut in the arm with a sharp object.

Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section are investigating the incident.
