This has brought back a long-forgotten memory. I grew up on Oak St and as kids we found an old grave site we believed, at the time, to be confederate soldiers graves. Best I can recall, there were two or three old markers indicating such. Of course this has been over 45+ years ago. The graves were on the right side of Oak St. Ext., just past where the housing authority apt. complex is now. Who knows, these may be bones from those graves!
