DeMint book signing set for tonight

MYRTLE BEACH - U.S. Senator Jim DeMint will speak and sign copies of his new book, “Saving Freedom: We Can Stop America’s Slide into Socialism,“ Friday night in Myrtle Beach.

The book signing is scheduled for 7 pm at the Barnes and Noble store in The Market Common.

In the book, points out what he sees as a move toward socialism in the U.S. Government and advocates for reinstating principles of freedom on which DeMint says the country was built.

DeMint was elected to the Senate in 2004.
