Conway Main Street USA elects new board members and presents awards

Conway Main Street USA held its 2009 Annual Meeting recently and the slate of candidates for the 2009-2010 Board of Directors was announced and unanimously approved by the membership. 

According to a news release from Conway Main Stree USA, the 2009-2010 Conway Main Street USA Board of Directors are:

Ted Turner-President, Vicki Castle-Vice-President, Tracy Pickens-Secretary, Barry Dennis, Dawn Richardson, Carol Butler, John Cassidy, Ginny Horowitz, Larry Biddle, John Zilinsky, Kathy Harper and Jean Timbes. 

The annual Main Street Awards were also presented.

Among the winners, Sharon Jordan, who received the Volunteer of the Year Award. 

The Lifetime Achievement Award went to Timmy Williams of the City of Conway for 10 plus years of supporting the revitalization of downtown Conway.

The Lifetime Contribution Award was presented by Marcie Shannon of Conway National Bank to HTC for their 10+ years of contributions to the vitality of downtown Conway.
