Coastal Carolina University’s Office of Student Affairs announces new staff appointments
Luke Benfield has been named the coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Coastal Carolina Univeristy.
According to a news release from CCU, Benfield will oversee the university’s fraternity and sorority life program by coordinating educational and leadership development programs for Greek organizations.
Kathryn Zahm will join the Office of Student Activities and Leadership as the co-coordinator of volunteer student services. As an Americorps/VISTA volunteer, she will work with students to promote volunteerism and develop grant proposals to support volunteer programs. Zahm earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and marketing from Assumption College where she was the service director for the Reach Out Center.
Laura Arroyo is the new area director for the Office of Residence Life. She will supervise the resident directors, coordinate the recruitment, selection and supervision of the resident assistant (RA) staff. She will also manage the day-to-day operations of The Gardens student residential community.
