Two arrested after burglary of Green Sea home

Horry County Police officers arrested two men for burglary over the weekend in Green Sea.

According to a press release, officers arrested Daniel Lee Harris, 17, of Columbia, SC and Blayne Steele Manning, 23, of Cerra Gordo, SC Sunday afternoon after police responded to a suspicious person call at a home on Strickland Rd.

Upon arrival, one of the suspects began to run from officers.  They later caught up to him, and both were detained.

Police said both suspects had just unlawfully entered a residence, and took jewelry and rifles. 

All the property was recovered from the suspects and returned to the home owner.  Both suspects were taken to J. Rueben Long Detention Center and charged with first degree burglary.
