WTC holds graduation ceremony

KINGSTREE - Williamsburg Technical College awarded 125 degrees, diplomas and certificates at their annual graduation ceremony on Friday, May 15, in the College’s courtyard. All participating graduates as well as platform guests wore gold medallions on royal blue ribbons to commemorate the College’s 40th anniversary.

Guest speaker for the event was Jimmy L. Wilson, area director of the Williamsburg County office of the South Carolina Employment Security Commission (ESC). Adjunct anatomy and physiology instructor Dr. Alex Hemingway from Andrews was awarded the 2009 Quarles Excellence in Teaching Award.
