70th Anniversary Celebration: 5 p.m. Nov. 21 in the family life center at Kelleytown Baptist Church for Hartsville First Church of the Nazarene at 1909 W. Bobo Newsom Highway. Celebration includes a Thanksgiving dinner for all present and past members of First Church of the Nazarene. At 10:30 a.m. Nov. 22, a historical power point presentation will be held.

Revival: 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. weeknights Nov. 29 – Dec. 2 at Hartsville First Church of the Nazarene at 1909 Bobo Newsom Highway. Norman Moore will be the speaker. Moore began preaching when he was 11 years old in Pueblo, Colo. He was ordained in 1973 and organized the Norman Moore Ministries Inc. in 1979.

Dispelling Myths and Finding Hope in the Bible’s Most Difficult Book: 11 a.m. to noon and 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Dec. 15. Pastor Phil Thrailkill of St. Luke United Methodist will teach 16 sessions. The teaching method used will be a scripture sheet laying out the structure of the passage, followed by a lecture on the history, rhetoric and theological insights of the text. Angel Food Ministries: Food boxes are designed to feed a family of four for about $30. There is no application to fill out. Open Prayer: Noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Wesley United Methodist Church sanctuary, corner of College Avenue and Fourth Street. All are welcome to come in and pray. This is a time of personal prayer; no program is planned. The community is invited to just come and sit or kneel at the altar and open their hearts to God.
