Recreation Football Champions crowned

The undefeated team Sonoco (6-0), the 2009 12 & Under Champions, includes, front row from left, Quaynard Jackson and Brooks Haley; middle row, Michael Beans, Darius Copeland, Nate Frierson, Delonte Moore and DeQuincey Cosom; back row, Justin “Tank” Jackson, Riquan Cotton, Geonquaze Woods, Aryon Dudley, Antonio Dunton’el and Jordan Franklin; and coaches Shenard Brown, Orlando Moore, Rufus Dixon, Ricky Haley and Frank Woods.
The undefeated team Sonoco (6-0) were named the 2009 12 & Under Champions the team’s 12-7 victory against Gibson Transport on Saturday at Byerly Park.
Also on Saturday, Wings & Ale defeated Loans by Pledge 13-0. Bulldogs defeated the Panthers and Gamecocks defeated the Red Foxes.
