A Rogue of my Own, by Johanna Lindsey ~ How does an innocent lady find herself forced to wed a royal spy who seduced her by mistake? For Lady Rebecca Marshall, a whirlwind of passion and excitement begins when, to her mother’s great delight, she becomes a maid of honor at the court of Queen Victoria. Rebecca’s mother sees this appointment as a golden opportunity for Rebecca to make a good match.

In the Kitchen, by Monica Ali ~ Gabriel Lightfoot is an enterprising man from a northern England mill town, making good in London as executive chef at the once-splendid Imperial Hotel. His stress level is high as he secretly plans a move to a restaurant of his own; while daily he labors under the scrutiny of sharp-eyed hotel management and struggles to direct the excitable multinational kitchen staff. Despite the pressures, all his hard work looks set to pay off, until a worker is found dead in the kitchen’s basement.

The Neighbor, by Lisa Gardner ~ From a master of suspense comes a chilling new novel that explores the dangers lurking closer than you think. Even in the perfect family, you never know what is going on behind closed doors. The case sparked a media feeding frenzy, a young mother, blond and pretty, disappeared without a trace from her South Boston home, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter as the only witness and her handsome, secretive husband as the prime suspect. But from the moment Detective Sergeant D. D. Warren arrived at the Joneses’ snug little bungalow, she sensed something off about the picture of wholesome normality the couple worked so hard to create.

Knock Out, by Catherine Coulter ~ Ethan Merriweather, sheriff of Titusville, Virginia, a small mountain town near the Titus Hitch Wilderness, goes looking for a missing little girl. Soon after he finds her, Ethan realizes that Autumn has brought him a huge problem. A relentless madman, who has the ability to control others simply by looking at them, is after Autumn and her mom. Ethan finds himself in a race to stop the madness, or the madness will destroy them all.

The Cheater, by Nancy Taylor Rosenberg ~ Rosenberg’s 14 years in law enforcement have always given her novels great authenticity, often pulling inspiration from the very cases she has worked. Here returns to her most beloved character, Lily Forrester, from Mitigating Circumstances and Buried Evidence. FBI Agent Mary Stevens is tracking a killer who murders husbands who are cheating on their wives, their mutilated bodies disposed of in ghastly ways and strange locations. Bryce Forrester, Lily’s husband, calls her from a Las Vegas jail where he’s been arrested for attempted rape, even though Las Vegas was not on his itinerary. Anne Bradley, Bryce’s accuser, like Lily, is a woman with an eerie past. The trail leads back to a Web service that provides alibis for cheating spouses and into a thick web of deception that puts both Lily’s and Mary’s lives in jeopardy. Do you know where your husband is?
