If you are wondering about the construction at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church of U.S. Highway 501 bypass in Marion, the church is preparing to present “The Wilderness Tabernacle” exhibit.

The church, at 133 Penderboro Road, Marion, where Dr. A.C. Robinson is pastor, is bringing the exhibit to the area from April 7-19. The event is to be hosted by the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Brotherhood. The exhibit will be open Monday – Friday, noon until 7 p.m.  and on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Large groups should plan to make appointments only for touring Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. Deadline to make appointments is March 28. Call 843-423-6018. Admission and parking is free and the exhibit is handicapped accessible.

The “Tabernacle Courtyard” is very near actual size, and is on a level grassy field, designed to be walked through by individuals. To move through all “seven stations” takes approximately 50 minutes. The exhibit is a prayerful, awesome, interactive, Bible-teaching experience, organizers say and prayer rooms will be available for pastors and visitors who wish to use them. Suggested Bible reading to prepare for the exhibit is Exodus, Chapters 22 and 40: and Hebrews, Chapters 8 and 9.

I have toured the “The Wilderness Tabernacle” in Florence this past year. It is an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this!!
