PETS OF THE WEEK: Spanky and Sparky

“Hi everyone! We are so excited you are reading about us. We are the soon to be famous Spanky-Sparky brother duo who bring joy and delight to all who meet us. We might be a tad shy when you first meet us, but we quickly warm up and welcome you into our inner circle. Being young and without consistent supervision and guidance, we could benefit from a basic manners course but are smart as a whip so we would catch on right away. Come by and see for yourself why volunteers showered us with gifts of new bandanas to make us look super special for our photo session!”

The Darlington County Humane Society, 398-4402, is located off Highway 151, ½ mile west of Darlington Raceway. Turn beside the water tower. Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is closed Wednesday and Sunday.
