The Pee Dee Academy volleyball team honored senior Katelyn Browne for five years of play this past week.

This past week the Pee Dee Academy volleyball team closed out the regular in preparation for state playoffs over the weekend.
During a match versus Dillon Christian School, the Lady Golden Eagles honored senior Katelyn Browne.
Browne played for the volleyball team for five seasons, including four years on at the varsity level. She was a member of the SCISA state championship runner-up squad from 2008.
Brown earned MVP honors at this year’s Carolina Forest Invitational. She is also a member of the Lady Golden Eagles varsity basketball team and help the team win the state championship in 2008.
Browne is also a member of the school’s track team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Ecology Club, Anchor Club and Quiz Bowl team.
Browne is a Palmetto Scholar and plans to major in Graphic Communications at Davidson College in Charlotte, N.C.
