McBee artists recognized

Three of McBee High School’s middle school students received recognition for their artistic and expressive ability in the recent Regional Career Development Poetry/Poster Contest.

Ben Youngblood, received first-place recognition with his poem in the Middle School Division of the poetry contest for the 2008-2009 Regional Career Development Poetry/ Poster Contest. He also placed at the state level and will receive a certificate from the State Deptartment of Education. Caleb Shuler, received first-place recognition with his poster submission in the Sub-Category 2 in the Senior Division of the Poster Contest for the 2008-2009 Regional Career Development Poetry/Poster contest.

Alvaro Giraldo received second place for his poster submission.
