Marion County Council meets Thursday

Marion County Council will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Marion City Hall on Main Street.

On the agenda are third reading of an ordinance to authorize the issuance of a special source revenue bond for Carolina AAC, committee reports and the audit report. Charles Jones and Brenda Jackson-Kenneth of Cobb & Company will present the county’s audit report.

Also on the agenda is a legal update by the county attorney and an administrative update by the county administrator.
