Marion-Dillon County Disabilities Foundation to have fundraiser

The Marion-Dillon County Disabilities Foundation was established to support those in our community with mental retardation, autism and brain and spinal injuries.
Services for people with special needs are provided by the Marion-Dillon County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs which was established in 1987. Services include Service Coordination, Family Support, Respite, Early Intervention, Work Activity and Career Preparation Service, Job Coach and Residential.
This year the Foundation Board is sponsoring a “Light-A-Tree” fundraiser to help support the consumers served by Marion-Dillon County DSN Board.
A donation will light a red light in honor of or a white light in memory of a loved one.

A tree lighting ceremony will be held on Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at MDSBDASN 400 MLK Boulevard, Marion.
