The Coker College women’s soccer team recently made a generous donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Hartsville thanks to the help of the Cobra fans. The Lady Cobras collected used sports equipment to donate to the Boys and Girls Club during Coker’s 2009 Homecoming weekend on Oct. 2-3.
With collection bins placed at each athletic event, the Coker women collected more than 100 sports items to donate to the Boys and Girls Club.
“It is great to be able to give something back to the Hartsville Community,“ said Head Coach Bethany Grass. “On behave of my entire team; I want to thank everyone that donated equipment, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.“
