With luncheon and music in the courtyard, Marion Regional Healthcare System and the Mullins Nursing Center residents and staff celebrated National Nursing Home Week.
National Nursing Home Week begins on Mother’s Day and continues through May 16.
This event helps educate the public about the supportive services long-term care facilities provide that meet the unique needs of older citizens and gives us the chance to honor nursing home residents, families, staff and volunteers. This is also a time to focus on residents and their families. The theme for this year’s National Nursing Home Week was “Nurturing a Love That Lasts.” In honor of National Nursing Home Week, Marion Regional Healthcare System recognizes Mullins Nursing Center, its residents and staff who make quality care possible.
They celebrated the week and the center’s recent notice that they had received an overall five-star rating from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on May 13 with a luncheon in the courtroom. Anyone in need of an assisted care contact can call Mullins Nursing Center at (843) 464-8211.
