Carolina Kids LLC collected eight, large trash cans full of food and hygiene items at Wal-Mart on Saturday. The group will distribute through the food through its Hunger Busters program, where Carolina Kids volunteers pack food bags at Southside and Brunson-Dargan, and the hygiene items at the Kids Closet.

Carolina Kids’ mission is to enhance the lives of children in the area by investing in social change and breaking down economic barriers. The organization’s programs include a backpack program, Christmas Wishes, Hunger Buster, Everyone Should Go, a Gardening Program and The Kids Closet.
