Byerly Park holds baseball classic

Hartsville Thunder won the 12 and Under Championship in the USSA Perfect Catch Classic tournament held at Byerly Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Byerly Park hosted the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Perfect Catch Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
The undefeated Rumble won first place in the 9 & Under group after a 14-11 final game against the Bulls on Sunday. In the 11 & Under group, the second seed Starz took home first place with the No. 1 seed Cavalier team taking second.
In the 12 & Under group, the Thunder blew by the Storm in a 9-1 championship game on Sunday. The Thunder defeated the Storm in the first game of the tournament 6-3.
