Horry County Schools announces school-level Teachers of the year

A teacher in each school within Horry County Schools has earned the honor of being chosen by his or her peers as the school-level Teacher of the Year.

School spokesperson Teal Britton, says this this recognition pays tribute to a teacher’s professionalism, effectiveness, and commitment to the profession. Now, each of these teachers will vie for the title of the Horry County Schools’ Teacher of the Year, a title that is currently held by Jean Burden, seventh grade teacher at Loris Middle School.
