Three Florence 1 schools locked down
South Florence High School, Southside Middle School and the Florence Career Center were on lockdown Thursday after receiving word that police were looking for suspect in the area, Florence School District 1 Superintendent Larry Jackson said in a press release issued Thursday.

DILLON ? Dillon County?s $60 million bond referendum that would help Dillon School Districts 1, 2 and 3 improve facilities, won by at least 70 percent of the votes, according to unofficial poll results Tuesday night.
