Yard sale
Hopewell AME Church will hold its end-of-the-year yard sale from 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. The yard sale will be held in the parking lot of Anderson Brothers Bank at 201 S. Main St. in Hemingway. For more information, call (843) 558-5423.
Memorial program
Johns Tabernacle Holiness Church will hold a memorial program at 4 p.m. Sunday. Any family members of loved ones who attended the church are invited to attend the service. The guest speaker the event will be the Rev. Joe Bennett of Gresham.
Gospel singing
Terrell’s Church of God of Prophecy will hold a gospel singing at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Singing Couriers from Bennettsville. The church is located at 1109 New Zion Road in Lake City.
Veterans Day
All veterans and active service personnel as well as their families are invited to a special Veterans Day worship service at Greater St. James AME Church, at 339 W. Moore St. in Lake City, at 10 a.m. Sunday with speaker Presiding Elder Dr. Allen W. Parrott. Dinner will be provided to the honorees following morning worship.
Women’s conference
Mega-Omega Ministries will hold a women’s conference titled “Women of Destiny Pursuing Our Purpose” from Nov. 11-15. The conference will begin at 7 p.m. Nov. 11, 12, and 13 and at 9 a.m. Nov. 14 and 15. It will be held at Mega Ministries, at 3147 N. Williamsburg County Highway in Cades. The conference will include:

- Thursday: Prophetess Susan Todd of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church

Fall revival
The East Lake City Believers Holiness Church, at 1847 McCutcheon Road, will have its fall revival at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11, 12 and 13 with guest revivalist Bishop Amos Major, pastor and first vice overseer of The House of God No. 1 Holiness Church in Cades. For information, call (843) 389-6385.

Family Fun Day
Stone Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church will hold Family Fun Day at noon until on Nov. 14 featuring a gospel singing on the lawn with Brian Parker, Cindy Ward, New Direction, The Singing Shepherds and many others. Barbecue plates will be sold for $6 a plate. There will be a bouncing slide for kids, popcorn, lemonade, soft drinks and cotton candy. Proceeds will go toward a park for the children. Workshop and concert
A praise and worship workshop and concert featuring Alicia Green will take place Nov. 19-21 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, at 1146 Old Manning Road in Turbeville. Angel Food Ministries
Great Commission Ministries is offering the Angel Food Ministries program and the November menu for the Signature Box for $30. Some of the items are 1.5-pound rib-eye steaks, one-pound boneless pork chops, two-pound bags of fresh onions, a dozen eggs, dessert and more for $30. You can purchase specials for $22 with the purchase of the Signature Box. Orders can be placed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday through this coming Tuesday, and distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 21. Worship time changes
Mega/Omega Ministries has a new schedule for its services. Mega worship in Cades will take place at 8:20 a.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month; Ministry at Study will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and at Omega worship in Florence at 8:20 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays.
Carolina Opry trip
Lake City First Baptist Church is planning a trip to The Carolina Opry on Dec. 10. The bus will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $50 for the bus and show. No meals are included.
