23rd choir anniversary
The Youth and Young Adult Choirs of East Lake City will be celebrating their 23rd anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday. Your youth and young adult choirs are invited to render two selections. For information, call (843) 389-6385.

Family and Friends Day
Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church will have its annual Family and Friends Day Celebration on Sunday. Church school will be held at 8 a.m. and worship at 9 a.m. For information, call (843) 394-8382.

‘Maturing in the Faith’
Lake City Community Church, at 110 Sauls St. in Lake City, will have services focusing on “Maturing in the Faith” with speaker Bishop Billie K. Bamberg at 6 p.m. July 12 and at 7 p.m. from July 13 through 15.

Clothing giveaway
A free clothing giveaway will take place at 6 p.m. July 19 at the Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, at 608 S. Ron McNair Blvd. Compassion Closet is a ministry of the Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church. All clothing is in like-new condition and is given away free of charge and with no questions asked to all who come. Please enter from the front of the church. Door prize drawings will begin at 6 p.m. sharp. Bring a friend and enter to win a $25 Walmart gift card.

Gospel singing

Mark Lowry and Friends
The Lake City First Baptist Church is chartering a bus for a trip to see Mark Lowry and Friends at White Oak Conference center Sept. 17. The cost of the trip is $53 per person. Space is limited. The bus will leave the church at 2:30 p.m., the show is at 5 p.m., supper is at 7 p.m. after the show, and the return to the church will be at 10 p.m. Anyone interested in going should call James Guy at (843) 389-2838 or (843) 598-3344.
