Coker Music guest voice recital Sunday

On Sunday at 7:30 p.m., Coker College Music will present a guest voice recital by baritone Michael LaRoche in the Hannah Lide Coker Recital Hall in the Margaret Coker Lawton Music Building.  Catherine Garner, pianist on the faculty at East Carolina University, will accompany LaRoche who will perform selected works by Robert Schumann, Guy Ropartz and George Butterworth.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

LaRoche teaches at East Carolina University where he earned a master’s of music. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in vocal performance from the University of South Carolina.

Garner holds a doctorate in collaborative arts and chamber music from the Eastman School of Music.
