Children participate in mime workshop

The 2008 Teen Summer Reading Program at the Lake City Public Library continued with laughter and fun on June 26 as more than 119 children and adults filled the Community Room for the Mime Workshop with, Jef. From 1972 to 1993, Jef toured throughout the United States as a member of TOUCH, North Carolina’s mime theater ensemble, according to information released from the library. Library officials said Jef lives in Lumberton and travels to surrounding areas to perform in festivals and various shows.
