Study finds laser eye surgery safe

Laser eye surgery appears to be safe in the long-term according to a small study.

Researchers followed 16 patients who had the procedure to correct their vision nine years ago.

They found the density of the cells surrounding the cornea decreased by about 5 percent which is the same for people who don’t have the surgery.
