French researchers say they’ve found a way of using human embryonic stem cells to create new skin.

The findings could one day lead to new treatments that help burn victims.

For decades, patients have benefited from a technique that uses a person’s own skin to create new skin cells.

But the process takes about three weeks — putting patients at risk for dehydration and deadly infections.
