1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 lb. shredded coconut

Combine ingredients and drop by spoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 F oven about 20 mins. or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from cookie sheet. These are chewy almost like a confection instead of a cookie.

Coconut Cornflake Meringue Kisses

Beat 4 egg whites with ½ t. cream of tartar until stiff
Gradually add 1 & ½ cups white sugar and beat until very stiff but not dry. Meringue will make a curl on the beaters.
Add ¾ t. almond extract
Fold in 4 oz. shredded coconut and 4 c. cornflakes.
Drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 300 F oven 20 mins. or until firm and dry. These melt in your mouth.
