Miss Taylor Elizabeth Weaver and Mr. John Breeden Early, Jr., both of Darlington were married on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Darlington. The Reverend Renny E. Johnson and Dr. Kenneth B. Sandifer performed the four o’clock ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Carter Weaver of Darlington. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Donalene Powell Taylor of Gaffney, South Carolina and the late Captain George Edward Taylor, Sr. She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bert Weaver of Darlington.
She is a May 2009 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is attending the University of South Carolina, pursuing a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a registered nurse at Bishop Gadsden Retirement Community in Charleston, South Carolina.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Breeden Early, Sr. of Darlington. He is the grandson of Mrs. Clare Chappell White of Darlington and the late Mr. Joseph Wylie White. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Nell Breeden Early of Darlington and the late Dr. William Francis Early.
He is a May 2009 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He is attending the Medical University of South Carolina, pursuing a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Maid of Honor was Miss Avra Callie Brannon of Gaffney, South Carolina, cousin of the bride.
Best Man was Mr. John Breeden Early, Sr., father of the groom.
Bridesmaids, all friends of the bride, were Miss Erin Whitney Howle of Darlington, Miss Cameron Inabinet Joye of Lexington, South Carolina, Miss Ashley Geneva Kelly of Darlington, Miss Terrha Sloane Lee of Darlington, Miss Sara Elizabeth Myers of Darlington, Miss Kinsley Anne Poore of Anderson, South Carolina, and Miss Monica Leigh Wilson, of Darlington.
Groomsmen, all of Darlington, were Mr. Raymond Joseph Early, brother of the groom, Mr. James Radisson Dana, friend of the groom, Mr. Robert Brenton Dana, friend of the groom, Mr. Travis Kemry Lunn, friend of the groom, Mr. Austin Thomas Oates, friend of the groom, Mr. Ronald Calhoun Scott, friend of the groom, and Mr. William Wilson Kirven IV, friend of the groom.
Flower girls were Miss Haleigh Jordan Holt and Miss Trae Ann Proell, both of Darlington.
Ring bearer was Master Charles Riley Travers of Darlington.
The music for the ceremony was provided by Mr. John Dickinson, organist and pianist, Mrs. Ari Dickinson, soloist, and Mr. Mike Clyburn, trumpeter.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church.
Following the wedding trip, the couple will reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
