Walden – Sutherlin

Mr. and Mrs. George Walden Jr. of Hartsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Windham Walden, to Mr. William Lee Sutherlin, son of Mrs. Sidney Lensward Watson Jr. of Hartsville and Mr. William Lee Sutherlin of Freeport, Grand Bahamas.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Isobel Norris and the late Mr. Audrey O. Norris of Lamar and Mr. and Mrs. George Walden Sr. and the late Irene Watkins Walden of Hartsville. She is a graduate of Hartsville High School, Columbia College with a degree in social work, and the University of South Carolina with a graduate degree. She is employed by The Phoenix Center of Greenville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Emma Cook Mims and the late Mr. William Charles Mims of Hartsville and Mr. and Mrs. William Albert Sutherlin of Spartanburg.  He is a graduate of Hartsville High School and the University of South Carolina with a degree in criminology, and is employed by Southern Wine and Spirits of Greenville.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Lakeview Baptist Church in Hartsville.
