Stewart - Hoffman
Katie Michelle Stewart of Lake City and Jason David Hoffman of Petaluma, CA, were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Cypress Gardens, Moncks Corner.
Garrett Forehand performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Sonny Stewart and the late June Stewart of Lake City. She is the granddaughter of the late Franklin and Mable Thompson of Coward, SC, and the late Dick and Jean Stewart of Lake City, SC.
The bride received an Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
The bride wore a couture gown in ivory silk taffeta. The off the shoulder gown was designed with a v-neckline, that was embellished with Swarovski crystal and flowed into a modified trumpet skirt. A low v-back and sweep train adorned the back of the gown.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hoffman of New Port Richey, FL. He is the grandson of Fred and Anne Baker of Sylacuga, AL, and the late Richard and Maragrette Hoffman of Cornado, CA.
He is a Tech. Sgt. with the United States Air Force.
Maid of Honor was Casey Stewart, sister of the bride.
Best Man was Sal Sciortino, friend of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Heather Edwards, friend of the bride, Chrys DuRocher, friend of the bride, Kristie Amos, friend of the bride, and Erica Norwood, friend of the bride.
Groomsmen were Cory Stewart, brother of the bride, Ted Hernandez, friend of the groom, Liam Egan, friend of the groom, and Tony Galiotto, friend of the groom.
Flower Girl was Carley Edwards, friend of the bride, and Samantha Driggers, cousin of the bride.
Ring Bearer was Warren “Pierce” Morris, cousin of the bride.
A reception followed at Dean Hall in Moncks Corner.
Special thanks to Darrly and Sherry Morris, cousins of the bride.
After a wedding trip to Germany, in the spring, the couple will live in Charleston, SC.
