Small - Wells

Shannon Carrie Small of Florence and Mark Yancy Wells of Florence were united in marriage on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church. Reverend Laneir Singleton performed the ceremony. A reception followed at the Florence Country Club.
The bride who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mitchel Small of Florence. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Grimsley and Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Franklin Small of Dillon. The bride is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Master in Elementary Education. She is employed by Florence School District One.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Yancy Wells of Florence. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cephus Werts Long of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Yancy Edward Wells. The groom is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The maid of honor was Miss Catherine Wells and the bridesmaid was Miss Lauren Bevill.
The Best man was Mr. Yancy Wells and the groomsman was Mr. McLeod Robinson.
The ushers were Mr. Matt Edgerton, Mr. Daniel O’Dell, Mr. Matt OKell, Mr. Steven Jones and Mr. Kenny Small.
After a trip to a surprise destination, the couple will reside in Florence.
