Ms. Marvene Hooker Rowland of Hartsville and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Rowland of Santee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Angela Rowland, to James Reginald Sparks Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Reggie Sparks of Lamar.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hooker of Hartsville and Mrs. Hope Paschal of Florence and the late Mr. Archie Pascal.
The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Betty White and the late Mr. Hugh White of Lamar and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Owens of Gaffney.
The wedding will be August 29, 2009, at West Hartsville Baptist Church in Hartsville.
