Owens – Pigate

Mr. and Mrs. Carey L. Owens of Johnsonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Marie Owens, to Derek Lorin Pigate, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lynn Clements of Florence and Mr. and Mrs. David Lorin Pigate of Long Island, New York.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nora Levond Owens and the late B. Doward Owens of Hemingway and Mrs. Ernestine Owens and the late A. Laverne Owens of Johnsonville. She is a graduate of Johnsonville High School and Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education and is employed by Hemingway Elementary School.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Mille C. Cutler and the late Earl C. Cutler Jr. of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dallas L. Pigate of Timmonsville. He is a graduate of South Florence High School, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at Florence-Darlington Technical College, and is employed by Walker Industries, LLC.
The wedding will be June 6, 2009, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Florence.
