Mishoe-Gamble
Elizabeth Virginia Mishoe of Lake City and Kenneth Goodman Gamble of Lake City were married at 6 p.m. June 20, 2009 at Lake City First Baptist Church. The Rev. Shane A. Patrick perfomed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, Wayne Mishoe, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wayne Mishoe of Lake City. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wesley Floyd Jr. of Lake City and Mrs. Doris Daniels Mishoe of Lake City and the late Mr. Jerry Myer Mishoe. The bride graduated from Trident Technical College with an ADN and is employed by Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
The groom is a son of Mrs. Faye Parnell Gamble of Lake City and the late Mr. Kenneth Beasley “Buddy” Gamble. He is a grandson of Mrs. Willie Mae Parnell of Lake City and the late Mr. Kenneth David Parnell and Mrs. Dorothy Dennis Gamble of Turbeville and the late Mr. William Goodman Gamble and is employed by Farmers Telephone Coop.
Matron of Honor was Ruth Wilson Christie, friend of the bride and bridesmaids were Anna Lynne Gamble, sister of the groom, Abbie Lauren Floyd and Kristin Ashley Phillips, friends of the bride.
Flower girl was Camille Legrande Molten, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Lionel Ysasi, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Martin Thomas Eli Gamble, brother-in-law of the groom, Christopher Wayne Mishoe, brother of the bride and James Wesley Floyd IV, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Kevin Brent Hancock, cousin-in-law of the groom, Phillip Marion Carr, cousin of the groom and Richard David Atkinson, cousin of the groom.
A reception followed at Sunset Acres in Cades. After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will live in Lake City.
