Mr. and Mrs. Danny James of Columbia announce the engagement of their daughter, Tamera Janelle James, to Luther James Faulk II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther James Faulk of Turbeville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maggie L. Jordan and the late Roland Jordan of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest James of Florence.  She is a 2002 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology; a 2004 graduate of Webster University with a Masters in Counseling and is employed by the Saluda Mental Health Clinic, as a counselor.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Katherine Robinson and the late Charlie Robinson of Turbeville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Faulk of Loris. He is a 2002 graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in leadership and management at Webster University. He is employed by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, as a state trooper, and is currently serving in Iraq (In Support Of Operation Iraqi Freedom), as a commission officer in the U.S. Army Reserves.
The wedding will be May 2, 2009, at First Northeast Baptist Church in Columbia.
