Gordon – England
Sally Hayes Gordon and Ryan David England, both of Charleston, were married at 5 p.m. April 18, 2009, at Dune’s West, Mount Pleasant.
The Rev. Michael E. Rouse performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Proctor Gordon III of Dillon. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Murray Hayes of Nichols and the late Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Proctor Gordon Jr. of Mullins.
She graduated from the College of Charleston and is employed by Charleston County School District.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodger David England Jr. of Roswell, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Calvin Boyd of Palm City, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Rodger David England Sr. of Plantation, Fla.
He graduated from the College of Charleston and is employed by GCS Services.
Matrons of honor were Murray Ann Green and Angie Gordon Copeland, sisters of the bride.
Best man was Rodger David England Jr., father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Ansley England, sister of the groom, Jennifer Bailey, Christina Lake, Karen Morton and Mary Ashley Rodriguez.
Groomsmen were Timothy Brooks, Andrew Crowley, Patrick Follett, Sean Gleason and George Howell Jr.
Flower girls were Mandy Green and Rachel Green, nieces of the bride. Escort for flower girls was Trey Copeland, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at Dune’s West Country Club in Mount Pleasant.
After a wedding trip to St. Thomas, the couple will live in Charleston.
