Godwin-Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Burl Godwin of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Nicole Godwin, to Robert McKinley Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Smith of Lyman.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. William C. Osborne and the late Rev. Cecil J. Davis of Turbeville, and Mrs. Kathleen Godwin and the late Mr. John Euford Godwin of Pamplico. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and is employed by Kohl’s of Florence.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Dimsdale of Lyman and Mr. and Mrs. William Smith of Stanley, N.C. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in physics and is employed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions.
The wedding will be Sept. 19, 2009, at Southside Baptist Church in Florence.
